Cannot connect to server at this time. Your list cannot be published

I am using Excel 2007 file with 1201 rows of data in it. When I am try to import the excel spreadsheet using import feature of windows sharepoint services on my site it gives me error message as "Cannot connect to server at this time. Your list cannot be published".

Also followed the Kb article 838703 but it didn't help. Looking forward for your help.

I tried on several site and different site collection as well, but still getting the error message. I get error "Cannot connect to server at this time. Your list cannot be published"

I have tried unchecking the above mentioned box and I am still facing hte same problem. Any help please???

EXCELLENT - worked like a charm - I have seen options for creating List Templates . . . not for me!

Well the issue occurs due to certificate issue. This can be resolved by making below changes to the browser.

Open your Internet Explorer.

Click on Tools, then Internet Options

Go to Advaced tab

Scroll down to security and then uncheck the "Check for server certification revocation"

Restart your browser and then try again to import the list again. This should work.
