People picker doesn't give results from AD
I have a WSS installed. I ran the stsadm (stsadm -o setproperty –url http://extranet.company.com/sites/project1 –pn peoplepicker-onlysearchwithinsitecollection –pv yes )to search only in site collection. Now it returns user from only site collection. Now I want to disable and return search from AD. How can i do that.
Could you please tell me what is exactly people picker. I mean people picker is the check name button or the Browse button.
When I add domain\username and then click on chek name it finds the user, but when I give the username in browse pop window and search it doesn't find anything.
Please help.
