How to delete a site collection in MOSS and WSS/Sharepoint
Easy steps to delete site collection.

First login as site collection administrator to the Sharepoint/Moss/WSS 3.0 site

1. Go to Site Actions
2. Click on Site Settings
3. Under Site Administration, click on Delete this site

Note: this will delete all data from your site.
