Correct steps to install Sharepoint updates

I am getting lot of queries on how to install the Sharepoint updates on WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007.
So here we go; I have mention service pack 2. The steps remains same for all the WSS and MOSS updates.
1.Download the required Service Pack 2 for WSS and MOSS
2.First Install the WSS SP2 on the SharePoint server that has Central administration hosted
3.Then next installed the WSS Service Pack 2 on the other servers in the Sharepoint farm
4.Come back to the Central administration server and run the SharePoint Configuration wizard and it should complete successfully
5.Then after this run the SharePoint Configuration wizard on the other servers in the SharePoint farm.
6.Now follow the same above steps with Moss Service Pack 2 installation in the farm.
Note: If you have any language pack installed make sure you install the language pack service pack on all the servers in the farm first, then proceed with above steps.
