The UPA government led by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has won the trust vote in the parliament. The UPA government got 253 votes for the motion that was brought in by Manmohan Singh after the Left parties withdrew their support earlier this month.
The UPA government has survived amidst speculation of bribe offered to buy ministers of other parties. The BJP has accused the Prime Minister of offering bribe to buy BJP ministers. The BJP president Rajnath Singh has asked Manmohan Singh to resign due to this.
