The first day of second test match between India and South Africa in Ahmedabad once again shown the inconsistent display of the Indian batting line up. Indian were all out for just 76 runs. South Africa in reply were 223-4 at the end of the first day.
The pitch was helping the fast bowlers and once again it exposed the weakness of Indian batsmen ability to play against a quality fast bowling line up. Some of the wickets also put question mark on their commitment. Indians players got complacent after their perfomance in the first test match.
Now it will be very difficult to save this test match unless the bowlers come up with a great perfomance on day two.
